Position Overview:  Our creative balloon decor company is currently hiring for part-time production and install staff to contribute to the exciting tasks of inflating, creating, delivering, and installing balloon decor. Seeking motivated individuals with a strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and high attention to detail. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity, with room for growth within the company.

Balloon Decor Production and Install Team Member Duties:

• Follow directions to inflate and build balloon designs (training provided).
• Pay attention to design elements and details on production orders.
• Load and transport decor and supplies to event locations (lifting up to 50 pounds).
• Drive company vans (training provided).
• Set up decor at various venues and take photos of installations (training provided).
• Assist with workshop cleanliness and organization.
• Assist pulling from and restocking inventory, as needed.

Location and Hours:

• Workshop located in Walker, Louisiana. We primarily service clients in Baton Rouge.
• Part-time role for production and install staff, approximately 25 – 35 hours per week. (May vary based on workload).
• Primarily Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 2:30 pm or 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, with rotating weekdays off.
  (Ideal for moms with older kids who want to work while the kids are at school.)
• We are an event company, so weekend availability is a must for deliveries and installs. Working every weekend isn't required and shifts are generally short, depending on number of events.
• Weekdays off are rotated when weekends are worked.

Team Member Requirements:

• Positive attitude and pleasant personality are crucial for our vibrant work environment.
• Must be dependable, positive, honest, responsible, and capable of working with minimal supervision after training.
• Physical fitness required for lifting bases and tanks (approximately 35 – 50 lbs).
• Ability to climb and work comfortably from a ladder.
• Ability to use basic math skills.
• A current LA Driver’s License and U.S. work eligibility are mandatory.
• At least 3 years of working experience in a team environment preferred.

    Note: No individuals with bad backs or fear of heights, as we often use ladders.

Starting pay is $11-12/hour with quarterly evaluations and opportunities for raises and bonuses.
